The new Apple smartphone, the iPhone SE, will officially be on sale in the UK from March 31st. The phone will sell alongside the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but will be a lot cheaper with a starting price of £359.
Customers wanting to get their hands on the latest Apple must have can pre-order the phone now. You can buy it from Apple or from one of a number of retailers who will be stocking the device. The phone will be available from Virgin Media, Vodafone, O2, Three, GiffGaff and EE.
So, what makes this model of iPhone different? It is essentially designed to replace the iPhone 5s, as a smaller and cheaper alternative to the iPhone 6/6 Plus. Specifications of the device include: a 64 bit A9 chip which is already found in newer iPhone models, high definition retina display, longer battery life, faster data/wifi connectivity, touch ID and 4K video. It also has a 12 megapixel camera and a Live Photos feature.
